Welcome to Tower of the Hand, an unofficial companion to George R. R. Martin's bestselling series A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE. Here you will find chapter summaries, character profiles, family trees, timelines, guides, and many articles about the world created by GRRM. The information within covers five books from the series -- A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons -- as well as several short novels that also take place in the Ice and Fire world. We look forward to covering any other tale of the Seven Kingdoms written by George R. R. Martin.

While there are many websites devoted to the Ice and Fire series, few take the same approach as this one. What this site does is provide complete chapter summaries for each book in the series and provide individual pages for every character, location, noble house, historical event, and any other thing of note in the series. What makes this site unique is that every single page is cross-referenced and hyperlinked so that, for example, you could look at the summary for chapter 1 of A Game of Thrones and then go from there to the page on Eddard and from there to the page on Robert's Rebellion and on and on.

Tower of the Hand is a joint venture from the creators of "Encyclopedia ASOIAF" and "The Blood of Ice and Fire." Together, we've collected over 2500 pages worth of information, ranging from Addam Marbrand to Zollo, from Castle Black to Oldtown, from the Titan of Braavos to Needle. If you want to catch up on the latest book or to settle an argument about who killed whom, hopefully you can find what you're looking for here.
