Coming this October from developers Nerial and Devolver Digital is Reigns: Game of Thrones. Reigns: Game of Thrones will be the latest entry in a series that already includes the popular and well-reviewed games Reigns and Reigns: Her Majesty. For those who are not familiar with them, the gameplay is simple. You are presented a dilemma and two options to resolve it. Swipe left to choose one option. Swipe right for the other. Neither choice is obviously right or wrong, but whatever you decide will alter the balance of power among the game's various factions. If you can't maintain that balance throughout all your decisions, your reign will come to a swift end. Honestly, this sounds like a perfect fit for the political intrigue we've come to expect from the battle for the Iron Throne. We'll have more details about the new game as well as a review as we get closer to its launch. Until then, you can watch the reveal trailer below, read the official press release, and preorder the game.

Reigns: Game of Thrones will be available in October for iOS, Android, and Steam.

Official press release:

- Pre-Order Now on App Store, Google Play, and Steam -

Westeros - Nerial, Devolver Digital, and HBO® have unveiled Reigns: Game of Thrones, a new entry in the smash-hit swipe 'em up series based on the award-winning HBO® TV series Game of Thrones®.

Reigns: Game of Thrones will launch on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam for $3.99 in October and is available for pre-order now where available link=][/link.

Reigns: Game of Thrones extends beyond the HBO® series and explores possible futures for key characters as seen through the fiery visions of Red Priestess, Melisandre. Players can choose to rule as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark, and more while changing between each king and queen to face challenges and mysteries unique to their story. Melisandre's flames have proven hard to decipher and less than reliable, so players may encounter stories they do not expect. Peer into the flames and you may see Cersei rebuild the Great Sept of Baelor or discover what could happen to the Seven Kingdoms if Sansa Stark married Jaime Lannister.

Players will choose characters to claim the Iron Throne while carefully navigating the complex relationships and hostile factions of the Seven Kingdoms. Employ ruthless tactics to outwit political rivals, wield impervious charm on your fickle bannerman, and maintain the balance and favor of the people to extend your reign to maybe, one day, survive the horrors of a winter in Westeros. Decide the fate of Seven Kingdoms and those that reside in your land to the soaring score of the HBO series.
